Philosophy:

"I believe that a successful teacher needs to be an instrument of the students. As such an instrument, the teacher should provide several things to the students. The teacher should provide an environment that is secure, nurturing, and stimulating. In such an environment, each unique student can grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually."

"Being a Lutheran educator, it is especially important to me to provide an environment in which Christ is the center and the Word of God is taught. Through the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit, students learn they are a redeemed child of God. In response to God’s gift of forgiveness and grace, students learn to live lives that reflect the love of Christ and to talk openly about their faith. It is my role as the teacher, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to model this type of life."
