Classroom News

This week in our Bible story we have been studying about the prodigal (lost) son. In this story, the son asked for his inheritance and wasted it. His loving father forgave him and welcomed him back home. We learned that this story is a lot like us. Sometimes we make bad choices but our Heavenly Father forgives us when we say we are “sorry”.

This was a “Fun” week for the letter “Ff”. We explored farms and talked about how our earthly father’s help us. We are sending home a Father’s Day gift early since we won’t be in school in June. The children loved making these and shared lots of stories about their dads while we made them.

Last Day of School

On the last day of school, Wednesday, May 31st the preschool class will attend the school carnival in the gym from 9:15 to 10:00. P.T.L. is sponsoring this for our class with the help of parent volunteers.

Parents are welcomed back for a Nursery Rhyme Show at 11:00a.m. We will then continue outside to the playground for some teddy bear games and a light snack. Please have your child bring a stuffed animal and a blanket to school. We will end school at the normal time (11:30a.m.).
